Learning Curve

This whole ‘life’ thing is surprisingly hard work. Oh I know, we all knew that it would be before we stepped into the big wide world — but I never cease to be amazed by just how difficult it can be sometimes.

On a more positive note, the hard bits make you learn, and learning is generally a good thing. I’m learning about responsibilities and a bunch of really out-of-my-sphere things like plumbing, and the welding industry. I could actually explain to someone what radiant floor heating is if I wanted to. Bizarre.

I have also learnt that no matter how much I wish it was, not every speck of information is contained within the internet. And if it is, the internet muses have chosen to keep a goodly portion to themselves. It’s very selfish, and I don’t approve. This has brought me to the conclusion that I am entirely too dependent on the internet — if it disappeared, I wouldn’t have the slightest clue what to do with my days. It would also have the rather unfortunate side effect of putting me out of a job.

Additional recent revelations have included the discovery that housework is never really over – unless I decide to stop eating, I will be forced to do dishes for the rest of my existence. It’s a terrible plan.

On a completely unrelated side note, I have another somewhat interesting website for you.
You can find it HERE.

If you are at all interested in design, they post a few interesting tidbits once in a while. Who knew you could do so much with a teeny little business card. (Oh look! More learning. I guess it is related after all.)

Have a great day, and I hope you enjoy your learning curve. Whether you notice it or not, there will something new that pops up today. I guarantee it.
