I can’t even begin to tell you how delighted I am to find that this book is available on Kindle – so many of Stasheff’s books have been out of print for so long they have become nearly impossible to find. I’ve been holding on to the second book in the series and scouring used bookstores for this one.
I positively adore Stasheff’s style of writing and subtle humor. His characters are far from the pompous confident heroes we often see, but men with flaws a-plently that only add to their likeability.
This book features transportation to another world, a world where rhyming has power and heaven and hell take on a whole new meaning.
