I wonder if writers are more susceptible to emotions because they are required to look so deeply into the meaning and reason behind them. Love, anger, longing… you can’t just feel them and get on it with it, not if you want to convey them to others; make them feel it too. You have to understand more than just the surface emotion, and beyond that; you have to feel it, every time you write it.

Writers, photographers, artists or musicians may feel more and in turn want to convey their message either visually, verbally, written or through song. I feel that this is no different than a researcher trying to find a cure for something. I think it is easier for us to project our feelings into our work.
You’re very right, I shouldn’t have limited my musings to just writers; but rather encompassed all artists.
Thanks for reminding me that there are other people in the world, sometimes I get lost in my own little bubble and forget that. :)
