“Her name is on everyone’s lips…

But scandal doesn’t matter in search of the truth…
Engaged and then abandoned, Mirabella Wittingham is determined to find the man who drove her cousin to suicide, even if it means ruining her reputation and disgracing herself in the process…When her plans go awry, Mirabella has no choice but to turn to her long-lost fiancé for help. I find that if I’m going to read a romance, it is more likely to fall into the historical or paranormal genres.
This particular historical romance was a fun read, the story beyond the romance was interesting — a plot I haven’t read before.
It wasn’t overly saturated with sex as so many romance novels are. I know that erotica is really big, but sometimes it’s nice to read a romance that is, well, more-so about the romance!
I personally can only read the word ‘throbbing’ so many times in one book, you know?
It was a fun escape and I happily recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good romance now and again.
Never a Bride Formula:
1 x gallon of romance
1 x pinch of passion
2 x shakes of mystery
coat with finely chopped ginger for spice.
